Radon Gas Test

Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water. Due to the “stack affect”, it is sucked into your house through cracks and other openings in your foundation. You can’t smell, see or taste it, but the U.S. Surgeon General has warned that radon exposure is the number one cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.

We test for Radon by placing a measuring unit in the home that collects a sample of the air over a period of 52 hours. It will measure the radon concentration, room temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure in the home.

The cost of a Radon test is $225.00 when performed with a home inspection or $300.00 for a separate test.
